SXSW: Finding free events & parties via Google Maps

I’m heading to SXSW next week for the music/film portion and I’m in the process of looking for worth-while (and hopefully free) shows and parties while I’m Austin. Luckily, I stumbled upon the advanced search option “User-created maps” in Google Maps and searched for “SXSW 2010.” Lo and behold, I found this gem of a map to help sift through the events of the week.
